WISCONSIN

MammothMarch is back in Wisconsin – and sold out again!

To enter our 2024 Wisconsin waiting list, check out this link. We will notify you in case additional tickets become available (first come, first served) and keep you posted on future editions.

We are super excited to be back for our second edition of MammothMarch Wisconsin!

Once again, the Ice Age Trail is calling our name, and we are thrilled to hike 20 or even 30 miles along one of only 11 National Scenic Trails in the country with you.

Located less than an hour north of Milwaukee, we will call the Northern Kettle Moraine State Forest and its excessive trail system home for one day. Our single-circuit 20- & 30-mile hiking loops cover everything the 30,000 acres of rolling hills, lakes, and forests have to offer.

Date:  Saturday, June 8, 2024

Distance: 20 miles in 8 hours & 30 miles in 12 hours
There is no timekeeping, there are no failures, we only recognize the incredible courage it takes to rise to our challenge. Every participant completing the distance will be awarded their finisher medal and considered a winner!

Starting time: You can choose from several time slots as early as 6:30 am (30-milers) and 7 am (20-milers) with limited capacity when signing up. This ensures the most remote hiking experience as a maximum of 5 hikers will cross the starting line at the same time. With the majority coming back in just about 8 hours (20-milers) and 12 hours (30-milers), we will have our finish line open for the ones that need a bit more time.

Parking: Complimentary parking will be available right on site.  All Park fees are included in your ticket as well.

Aid/refreshment stations: There are water stops and aid stations along the route (approximately positioned every 5-7 miles apart) providing toilets, food, and drinks for all participants. These refreshments are included in the cost of your ticket and vary between each station, offering water, energy drinks, electrolytes, fruits, cereal/protein bars, sandwiches and more.

Certificates: All finishers will receive their personalized certificate after crossing the finish line. For the ones who drop out, we will issue certificates stating the mileage covered.

Finisher medal/wall of fame: For all participants finishing MammothMarch.

Hiking Pass: : MammothMarch Hiking Passes will be made available for all new participants. All participants from a previous edition or different MammothMarch events should bring their Hiking Pass to collect their 2024 stamps on site.

Merchandise: Our 2024 merchandise collection is available right here.

Route: The 20-miler is a single-circuit loop covering all the beauty the Northern Kettle Moraine State Forest has to offer with a great portion leading along the Ice Age Trail. Our 30-mile participants will finish the same 20-miles and head out for an extra 10 mile-loop, covering completely new terrain. The final routes will be made available around 2 weeks prior to the event. Take a look at our 2023 course right here

Total elevation gain: Around 1,000 ft. (20-miler), around 1,400 ft. (30-miler)

Terrain: A great mixture of paved and unpaved hiking trails, dirt trails, gravel roads, forest floor.

The route will be made available approximately 2 weeks prior to the event.
