Tampa Bay

Saturday, November 16 I Alafia River State Park

We are thrilled to host a second MammothMarch in the Sunshine State!

Located just 25 miles southeast of Tampa, MammothMarch at Alafia River State Park makes for the picture-perfect hiking getaway.

While our February edition close to Orlando offers a very Florida-like terrain and scenery, our west coast pendant will look a little bit different: Standing out from the relatively flat topography of Central Florida, Alafia River State Park features some of the most radical elevation changes in the state.

Our single-circuit hiking takes you on a 20-mile journey of trails that wind through mixed hardwood forests, pine flatwoods, rolling hills and many lakes with an abundance of wildlife.

Mastering our challenge, you will be exhausted, but proud and happy... as well as part of our amazing community of nature-lovers, hikers and MammothMarch addicts!
