MammothMarch is back! After our successful 2021 premiere event, we'll be back with both our 20- and 30-mile options, an adjusted set up, and lots of scenic miles through Allamuchy Mountain State Park, Stephens State Park and along beautiful trails and lakes, such as Sussex Branch Trail and Cranberry Lake.

You will have 8 or 12 hours respectively to master the challenge and finish exhausted but proud and happy.

Distance: 20 miles in 8 hours or 30 miles in 12 hours

There is no timekeeping, there are no failures, we only recognize the incredible courage it takes to rise to the challenge and every participant completing the distance will be awarded with their finisher medal and considered a winner!

Starting time: Several starting slots available from 7 a.m.

We have implemented time slots with limited capacity that you can choose from when signing up. This ensures that a maximum of 5-10 people will cross the starting line at the same time. The first hikers will start as early as 7 a.m. with the majority coming back in just under 8 hours (20 mi.) or 12 hours (30 mi.). However, we will have our finish line open for the ones that need a bit more time.

Venue (start/finish): The Fields at Waterloo, 2 Kinney Rd, Hackettstown, NJ 07840.

Parking: Adequate parking will be available and is included in the cost of your ticket

Aid/refreshment stations: There are aid stations along the route (approximately positioned every 5-7 miles apart) providing toilets, food and drinks for all participants. All refreshments are included in the cost of your ticket and will vary between aid stations, providing water, coffee, tea isotonic drinks, fruits, cereal bars, nuts and soup.

Certificates: All finishers will receive their personalized certificate and medal after crossing the finish line. A certificate – stating the individual mileage reached – can also be collected for those not completing the total distance.

Finisher medal/wall of fame: For all participants finishing MammothMarch.

Hiking Pass: MammothMarch Hiking Passes will be made available for all new participants to collect their stamps. All 2021 participants should bring their Hiking Pass to collect their 2022 stamps on site.
